Overview
At present Gautam group of colleges (GGC) has four colleges named Gautam College, Gautam Polytechnic , Gautam Institute of Management and Technology & Gautam College of Nursing. These colleges are running many diplomae, graduate & postgraduate programs like M.B.A., Hotel Management, BBA, BCA, PGDCA, Bsc (Hons.) Biotech, MSc (Physics), MSc (Zoology), MSc (Mathematics), MSc (Chemistry), MSc (Botany), MSc (Micro Biology), GNM ,B.Sc Nursing, B.A., B.Com, M.A. English & Political Science which are affiliated to HPU/HPTU. The GGC is an attempt to serve the ends of technological excellence which is the quest of mankind for centuries. Our aim is to impart the best of knowledge to our students with well-equipped lecture halls, seminar rooms, computer labs & a rich library. We invite sincere & committed students who not only dream but also have grit and determination to work hard to join Gautam Group of colleges and become competent professionavar.It is a matter of great pride for us that Hamirpur has been declared the 2nd totally literate district of the country. Education indeed is the most important factor in taking a nation on the path of progress. Keeping in view the importance of education the prominent educationists, intellectuals and other men of vision formally met and decided to run an institute to make higher academic education easily available and affordable to every aspirant of the Area. This dream/vision became a reality in June 1999.
