In the enchanting journey of education, Govt. Degree College Haripurdhar has woven a tale of transformation since its magical inception amidst the serene precincts of Maa Bhangyani Temple Complex in 2011. However, in a momentous stride forward, the college has now found its new abode in a picturesque campus, where the rhythm of regular classes has been resonating since June 2017.With a bouquet of undergraduate programs in the Arts stream including English, History, Political Science, Sociology, Hindi, and Physical Education, the college has expanded its horizons. Not content with just the traditional, it has embraced Commerce and Science streams along with the melodious addition of Music (Vocal), all since June 2017.
Fuelled by a dedicated and highly motivated faculty, the college endeavors to make the pursuit of knowledge an adventure, promising an enriching experience to all who step through its gates. Three batches of undergraduates have already embarked on their journeys from this esteemed institute.
The infrastructure at the new campus is nothing short of a marvel, boasting six classrooms, two smart classrooms, a spacious library, and well-appointed office rooms. Adding to this, a dedicated water supply scheme and three-phase electric supply further elevate the standards.
The new campus, adorned with state-of-the-art facilities, stands as a beacon of quality education, echoing the aspirations of RUSA (Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan) to democratize education regardless of geographical or social barriers. The construction of a Multi-Purpose Hall and Playground, funded by RUSA, is underway, promising a host of amenities including a canteen, girls' common room, gymnasium, and IT lab.
To keep pace with the evolving technological landscape, the college offers modern teaching aids such as Wi-Fi, IT laboratories, Blue Ray CD players, overhead projectors, quality sound systems, and ICT-enabled teaching-learning systems, ensuring students are equipped for success in the digital age.
