Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, founder of Arya Samaj and progressive social reformer, realized that education is the only key to reforming society through Arya Samaj based on Vedic principles. Dayanand Anglo Vedic College Trust and Management Society is also known as DAVCMC established in 1886 carries forward the Arya Samaj movement being guided by outstanding educationists.The society is running more than 800 educational institutions which include Science and Arts Colleges, Medical Colleges, Ayurvedic and Pharmacy Colleges, Vedic research institutes, and public schools.DAV is one of the largest non-government educational organizations in India.
